identical twins are held special esteem in uganda. these two boys are visiting their baby sister, who is being treated for malaria. although they appear to be in good health, it is likely that they are hiv positive.

this photograph is part of a photoset, life in uganda : photographs of my time in uganda in june 2004. these photos attempt to give an insight into daily life there. as well as some domestic wildlife and farm animals, and a little of the geography of the country. there are also some photographs of hospital patients, all of whom let me take their picture.
