sub-saharan africa is sometimes seen as a harsh and dry place, with little vegetation. while that is true in some parts, this photograph shows it not to be the case everywhere - uganda is teeming with plantlife.

this photograph is part of a photoset, life in uganda : photographs of my time in uganda in june 2004. these photos attempt to give an insight into daily life there. as well as some domestic wildlife and farm animals, and a little of the geography of the country. there are also some photographs of hospital patients, all of whom let me take their picture.
